Not Place_18

This project is part of a book edited by Stefano Pirovano and published in Italian and English by Silvana Editoriale in 2005. The volume has been recognized as the best ever at the seventh edition of Orvieto Photography 2006; on the same occasion also won the special prize Luigi Scattolin. The exhibition inaugurated the exhibition space 56 Gallery in Milan in the same year . The book dissects the concept expressed in the homonymous essay French anthropologist Marc Augé to document "Not Places", anonymous spaces frequented by like-minded individuals , but only - and framed by the landscapes of the western metropolis.
