The Hindu mythology plays a vital role in the celebration of Holi celebrations. The two stories are associated with the legend of Holika Dahan and Radha-Krishna. The first is the celebration of the miraculous escape of the young Prahalad, devotee of Vishnu, the demon Holika eager to live arderlo. Thanks to his unshakable faith the boy escaped unharmed by the attack demonic, while Holika was the victim of its own flames. It brings about the triumph of good over evil.
The love story of Radha- Krishna is the origin of the launch of the colors. The god Krishna, jealous of the beauty and innocence of his beloved Radha skin, one day he painted his face with colors. The Holi festival lasts six days each of which is celebrated with singing, bonfires they participate in the entire Indian population.
