Agrion mating

The artwork "Agrion mating" belongs to "Insects" collection.

Two dragonflies such Agrion are mating : the male is the one at top, it catches hold of behind the female's head but it's only her who decides whether to be fertilized as in this case because it can bend her body to bring the ends under the genitalia that the male has a long way forward, at the beginning of the abdomen.
