Caterpillar Saturnia

The caterpillar of the moth Saturnia is one of the largest and most beautiful. This specimen had left the plant nurse and wandered slowly at night until it's gone on this stem of mallow. Easy to photograph it with two flashes , one front and another rear connected by photocell.
