Nocturnal I

As the Australian photographer Steve Axford, the Italian researcher and photographer Bruno Manunza in Fungal collection focuses on fungi. Manunza transforms these organisms into true photographic artwork, which will attract the viewer's eye and take him into an unknown world, fairytale. In this shot a group of fungus Armillaria mellea, commonly called honey fungus, seem to come alive and transform into young lovers embracing tenderly under the moonlight.
