Seagull over the wave

A small group of seagulls flying low over the waves . In the island of Capraia the high rocks allow to photograph these birds from an unusual perspective, from on high.

The photograph of Carlo Delli allows to admire in all its elegance, the real Mediterranean gull. This is the largest gull entire Tuscan archipelago. Its wingspan can exceed one meter and a half. Attracted by human fishing activity, an adult specimen grazing flies over the water's surface, showing the direction of the gray wings that contrasts with the white of the head, neck and tail and the surf crashing on the rocks the island of Capraia.
