Sea bass on tray

Bass on the tray is a typical Mediterranean representation of Dutch painting of the first half of the seventeenth century. If the great masters such as Jan Van Essen or Pieter Claesz Heda strutturavano their paintings at a table laden with precious dishes and rich banquets, the photographer Manolo Tatti wants to enclose in the simplicity of its composition, the strong connection to the traditions of Mediterranean cuisine: bass, cherry tomatoes and lemons.
