Photography 1930 Oriental Building and Flora Fountain. The Oriental Building was built in 1885 as the Cathedral School. In 1893 it was sold to the Oriental Life Assurance Company. It is a wonderful example of revival architectural which combines the romance of the Gothic characters with indigenous elements of the city of Mombay. In the same area, in the southern end of the historic Hornby Road (Dadabhai Naoroji Road), called the long road Mile, stands the Fountain dedicated to the Roman goddess Flora hidden by a gentleman entirely white dressing. Typically British elegance of other times contrasted with man's outfit on the left: pith helmet, shirt with short sleeves, shorts and socks to high flow rates lives below the knee.
